| Original text | Οταν χόρευε η πεθερά της νύφης υπήρχε ένα έθιμο: Να "ξεκλάν" (ξεσκίζουν) το μαντήλι της πεθεράς, το κεφαλομάντηλο δηλαδή. Γι' αυτό η πεθερά είχε στον κόρφο της κι άλλο μαντίλι και τό 'βαζε για να μην μείνει ξεσκούφωτη. |
| English translation | When the mother-in-law of the bride was dancing, there was a tradition to tear the kerchief of the mother-in-law, that is her headscarf. For this reason she was wearing on her head another kerchief, in order not to be left with her head uncovered. |
