| Original text | Οι μεγάλοι, πιασμένοι με τα μαντήλια, χόρευαν. Μπροστά οι άντρες, πίσω οι γυναίκες, χαμηλοβλεπούσες και σεμνές. Χόρευαν τον Σταυρωτό. |
| English translation | The elderly were dancing holding each other by the kerchiefs. Men were in front, women in the back, with their gazes lowered, modest. They were dancing the Stauroto. |
