| Original text | Ο Σέρα-Χορός διαιρείται εις τον Σέρα-Χορόν και την Ξιφομαχίαν. Εις το τέλος του έκτου τριμέτρου της χορογραφίας, οι χορευταί μένουν ακίνητοι διά να αρχίσει ο Πυρρίχιος (Πιτσάκ-ωίν, δηλαδή παιχνίδι με μαχαίρια, στα τουρκικά). Δύο εκ των χορευτών φέροντες μαχαίρας χωρίζονται των άλλων και εκτελούν επί τόπου τρίμετρα με τα χέρια οπίσω. |
| English translation | Sera-dance is divided into Sera and Swordfight. By the end of the sixth trimetre of the choreography, the dancers stay unmoved until the Pyrrichios (Pitsak-oin, that is, the game with the knives in Turkish) starts. Two of the dancers, bearing knives, part from the rest and perform trimetre ion the spot, with their hands back. |
